2. Measures we have taken
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- Text alternatives for every meaningful image.
- Colour combinations checked for a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio on body text.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, accordions and cookie banner.
- Visible focus outlines on interactive elements.
- Animations disabled automatically for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
- Layouts that reflow to 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling.
- Text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content.
3. Known limitations
Some older archived audio does not yet have a transcript. We add transcripts to new productions as standard and are working back through the archive. If you need a transcript of a specific programme, ask us and we will supply one at no charge.
